 The second problem is that windows will not generate thumbnails for these codecs natively,
 [[https://www.videohelp.com/software/Icaros|Icaros]] is the standard solution for thumbnails.
 I installed [[https://codecguide.com/download_kl.htm|K-lite Codec Pack]] which includes Icaros.
